Postpartum |
|
| Having a new baby and
struggling with depression or anxiety can cause an incredible amount of
distress in a woman's life. Women who are accustomed to feeling capable
in their lives may be stunned by their fears and self-doubt. Women who were
looking forward to becoming mothers can feel devastated by their disconnection
to the baby or an overwhelming sadness that sometimes doesn't even have
an obvious cause. Other women may be so agitated or anxious that they doubt
their worth as a mother.
Postpartum life can leave some women feeling wiped out, scared, insecure, irritable or sad. But it doesn't have to stay that way. I have been treating women who struggle with a range of postpartum mood disorders for many years. I help women understand the "whys?" and the "what do I do about its?" during the postpartum period. We look at all the underlying causes and then address each factor or aspect of her life to find clarity, solutions and release. If you would like to talk more about postpartum depression, feel free to call me at 303-916-6929 or e-mail me (nancy@aparentconnection.com) her to set up an appointment. |
